Hauling 50 lbs of gear on a bike from east cost to west coast sounds like fun right? Not! But being stranded in the middle of nowhere, wishing you had a much needed piece of kit, would be way worse. So I’ve made my list and checked it twice and have decided I NEED the following items on my cross country journey…as a side note, you may have noticed some cooking gear in the photo which is not listed below, well I decided I didn’t NEED it so I’m leaving all that related gear behind.
